The Whirlwind is the latest in a series of competitive fighting arenas held by the world’s elite AI specialists. The bots are designed to withstand a fair degree of punishment, and each generation learns from the experiences of the previous generation of models. The machines are quite fierce and agile; they often dance for several minutes looking for an opening, and seem to posess a cunning that is frightening to observe.
