The yellow bed-chamber, Skogaholm Manor

The Yellow Chamber on the other side of the corridor is a small Gustavian-style guest room with painted woven wall panels from 1793-94. The bureau from the Rococo period, the chairs from the Gustavian period and the mirror from 1779 have all been hall-stamped in Stockholm. The two paintings are embroidered by Jeanne Charlotte Torngren in 1785. The bed with its distinctive steel stand is a so-called travel cot.
