More model informationThe Thorsgill stone has most likely been moved during field clearance to its present location along the hillside opposite Egglestone Abbey, County Durham, northern England. Area is now overgrown (2019) since the ERA recording in 2006 and difficult to photograph the entire stone for photogrammetry. It has twelve cup marks with 3 simple cup and rings. Published by Beckensall and Laurie 1998 and now is know as ERA-971 in England’s Rock Art database.
