Thread counting application with Roll-2-Roll® Sensor ODC 384-IR QD.

This shows the ideal sensor installation recommendations. Included in this installation example is a 1.5” Sensor Mounting bracket for a standard 1.5” aluminium extrusion profile. The mounting bracket already has an angle that helps with increasing the scattering of the light from the threads.

The minimum thread diameter is about 0.1 mm, the minimum thread spacing is about 2.5 mm and the maximum thread count would be 64.
