Tilted syn-sedimentary extensional fault

Syn sedimentary extensional fault in Early-Jurassic dolostones and limestones. Lurestan region, Zagros. The fault has been tilted together with layer during folding and presently it has a reverse kinematics. The view must be rotated, until strata attain an horizontal attitude, to appreciate the fault original geometry. The upper block (present day geometry) corresponds to the hanging wall in the unfolded attitude. Strata on the right side of the exposure show syn-kinematics character.
