Collaborative work I did for Epic’s Titan Project, a 10-week art jam hosted by Epic Games I’d taken part in until a month prior which encompassed 9 distinct biomes, of which I’d worked in Sulfur.
While I took on the role of modeling this character, and made the initial concept, the design was further refined to mesh with the final product by Tijerin Art, who also did rigging and animation.
This had been one of the first times I’d ever worked in a project of this scale, as well as one that allowed for this level of face density for characters. It had also been my first time working with RMOH mapping in Substance Painter, as we needed to build our maps in this way to work with the project’s material instances.
Special thanks to the team at Epic for this opportunity, and once again a huge shoutout to the other artists I worked with to see to this character’s completion and integration into the project.
