More model informationA likeness of an antique mask I fell in love with and that I decided to recreate as a challenge for myself as well as the students in my course. It represents the god Tlaloc, the Aztec god of the rain, water and eartly fertility. The base was created in Mudbox. The geometry for the turquoise tiles was created using a mix of 2D and 3D using Substance Painter and Zbrush. All final textures created in Substance Painter. The final model is a Low Poly with a displacement texture. I baked the displacement into the mesh to display it on Sketchfab.
