thanks for the download
@bsperan Thanks for taking the time to answer, But the owner has to give us some info on what and what not we are allowed, like for suppose I change some of the textures or tweak the models in some how that it is legal
@bigshotproductionz I noticed the license. But unless the creator of this model happens to be the same person or corporate entity who owns all rights to the CSGO franchise, this license does not guarantee that one would be free of serious legal issues if you used it in your game or production, even if you followed the license terms to the letter. That license is an agreement between the model creator and whoever uses it, granting certain permissions from the model creator. Unless stated otherwise, it does not necessarily involve the owners of the CSGO franchise.
Example: I've seen plenty of other models on other 3D model websites which blatantly mimic the characters, props and other likenesses of some popular shows and franchises, such as Star Trek and Star Wars (often admitting as much in the name or description) - which are often shared with a similar license to this CC-By 4.0. I guarantee you that if you used such models in a commercial game, CBS-Paramount or Disney would sue you and the license would not protect you.
Why do you think some 3D model sites offer - as a paid extra - indemnity insurance to businesses for the purchase of their models? This is to compensate the business if it turns out that they get sued for unknowingly using one of the site's models over copyright issues which the site unknowingly sold.
@bsperan The liscence is CC atribution and if you click on read more then it will say that I am allowed to use in my game commercially and may give credit.
Q: Are these just inspired by CSGO characters, or is there a very strong resemblance? If it's the latter, then wouldn't using them in, say, a game or anything commercial lead to problems? And if it's the former, why specify that these are from CSGO?
can I use for my game (commercial)
