Toads (ヒキガエル, Gama) are the inhabitants of Mount Myōboku, as well as the first summoning animals shown in the series. Toads have a wide range of abilities, being able to spit water or oil out of their mouths, as well as using things ranging from their own tongues and weapons in battle. The most unusual thing is that they are one of the few species capable of doing ninjutsu, and one of the few animals that are still capable of hand signs.
