The toggle lever is used as a positioning unit for contacting of high-current components. The workpiece is lifted within defined stroke and at the same time it plugs the contacts together, all within one movement. During this process, the workpiece is first spring-loaded to the upper-end position and then the contact is fed in. Using many MISUMI components makes the assembly of the mechanism much more efficient. The toggle lever principle was chosen in order to maintain the contact with high force in a defined end position with low actuating forces.
