Tomistoma schlegelii, a crocodilian also called the “false gharial”, is endemic to South East Asia and is found in fresh water habitats. This specimen is accessioned at the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology, where it was CT scanned on a Nikon XT H 225ST micro-CT scanner at a resolution of 105.95 microns.
This scan shows the skull of a smaller individual, possibly a juvenille.
