Toto the Giraffe

For a project I had worked on we needed a bunch of wacky looking animals. For the majority of these animals we decided to use some of Polydactyl’s amazing animal models, however one of the animals we needed was a giraffe, which Polydactyl hadn’t made.

To solve this problem I decided to remodel, rerig and animate one of the assets that had been included in the pack (Meelo the Cat) to look like and behave like a giraffe with a flexible neck.

Some of the animations are pretty bizarre, but that’s what’s needed when you have a Giraffe who can use its neck to grapple and swing around :)
