I’ve just re-processed this model of a late Neolithic carved stone ball using Agisoft Metashape Pro to test the new programmes speed and quality.
I’m really impressed at the results. Processing the same 270 photos at similar settings (though skipping the dense cloud process and producing the model using depth maps) produced remarkably similar results, but in a fraction of the time - less than 30 minutes from loading the photos. I decided to stretch the system on ‘ultra high’ which used to take forever, yet in less than an hour this model was produced. There’s some great detail visible and I’m really pleased with the results and output time.
