The inscribed slab, found in 1859 uphill of the church of San Pancrazio, records the construction or reconstruction of the aqueduct at Sestino by three brothers belonging to the Voluseni family. The name of Voluseni is often associated with clay remains (stamped or impressed bricks, crockery in terra sigillata italica – a kind of glazed terracotta), evidence of the flourishing entrepreneurial activity of the family. 27 BCE - 37 CE
