Fully hand-painted NPR asset, modeled in Blender and textured in Substance 3D Painter. Unlit materials (albedo maps only). I redesigned some areas (such as the swiveling mechanism that supports and rotates the four masts) to make more technical sense, in case I ever rig the model. Disney’s animated sci-fi film, “Treasure Planet,” has always been one of my biggest creative inspirations. Recreating this iconic vehicle in so much stylized, painterly detail was a joyful experience.
