More model informationWork in progress photoscan tryout of a Triceratops prorsus skull which is being prepped for reconstruction.
Found in 1891Wyoming by John Bell Hatcher whereafter it was stored at the Peabody museum in Yale. Afterwards (in 1956) it went to the Mineralogisch-Geologisch Museum Delft in the Netherlands, where it unfortunately fell of the delivery truck when it arrived.
Todayit is stored at the depot of the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre which is reconstructing the object to afterwards hand it back again to the museum in Delft.
A lot of history and misfortune for this specimen.
