Trilobite Phacopida (Annotated)

3D Model

This model of a Trilobite is created from 345 CT Scan slices in the .TIFF format. The subject was sliced into 0.04mm samples. My workflow is Slicer3D / Meshlab / Photoscan.

The initial CT data was acquired from DigiMorph.org, and was scanned by University of Texas Hi-Res X-ray CT Facility for the American Museum of Natural History.
