The 400 model, which replaces the 385 after less than two years, has a 6-cylinder diesel engine type MIDR 06.23.561 with direct injection of 11.1 liters and 392 hp with an air-cooled turbocharger, a manual transmission type B18 with 2x9 gears and air rear suspension. There are two choices of cabin layout for two- or single-driver driving. ABS and ASR are optional. It is available in a carrier configuration with 19 tonnes of authorized total weight (PTAC) and as a tractor-trailer with 40/44 tonnes of authorized total rolling weight (GVWR). The 420 dCi succeeds the 400 with a 6-cylinder engine of 11.12 liters and 412 hp, a 16-speed transmission (2x4 optional), on a carrier of 19 tonnes GVWR and a tractor of 40/44 tonnes GVWR.
