This diagram shows all of the required lights and reflectors on a typical truck-tractor and semi-trailer combination by FMCSR 393.11 in Table 1. Only the required lights and reflectors may be written as a violation, as 393.9 states that no additional lamp or auxiliary lamp be required to work because they are not required.
