A VR/AR optimised section of a scan of the Tudor Floor uncovered beneath the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, with audio commentary by Jane Sidell, Inspector of Ancient Monuments at Historic England. The original scan showing the context of the discovery can be found [here.](http://bit.ly/2zvvs3M)
The find was uncovered in summer 2017 during careful preparation of the floor for the new visitor centre beneath the Painted Hall.
The area uncovered includes a glazed tile floor and a subterranean room containing a series of unusual niches, which archaeologists believe may be ‘bee boles’ for the keeping of skeps (hive baskets) during the winter months when the bee colonies were hibernating.
