More model information

The osa-osa with three heads is a portable and figural stone seat for chieftains and noblemen. It is dressed into the shape of a three-headed lasara, a hybrid with mouth and tail of a bird, boars’ tusk and human ears with earrings. The seat was made for the host of an owasa feast to honor his venerable age. He was carried on the seat through the village during the celebration and later it was placed in front of his house as seat.
