Age: White River Group of the Oligocene period. Tertiary, Cenozoic Era.
Found in a whitish, calcareous clay that contains a phosphate deposit. This strata is tilted up at an angle of 60 degrees toward the east. Dr. H. E. Wood commended on specimen as good because the front legs are visible.
Collectors: Ralph Lackey and Idella Kennedy (Ekalaka, Mont.) and Ted Snyder (Mayer, AZ).
