This sculpture is part of the King Tut exhibit at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. It was 3D scanned with a Structure Scanner attached to an iPad Mini 4. The exhibit itself was originally at the Luxor Casino in Las Vegas before it was transferred to the museum. This work was conducted by Dr. Bernard K. Means of the Virtual Curation Laboratory of Virginia Commonwealth University as part of a special project sponsored by the Smithsonian Affiliations office in Washington, D.C This model has been made publicly downloadable for non-commercial educational and research purposes by the Las Vegas Natural History Museum from a 3-D model generated by the Virtual Curation Laboratory at Virginia Commonwealth University.
