More model informationA faience ring bezel with a cartouche of Tutankhamun from the site of Amarna. The remaining hieroglyphs read Nebkheperure (Tutankhamun’s throne name). It is unlikey that the ring belonged to Tutankhamun, as these types of rings have been found throughout the site of Amarna.
For more information, you can read this blog from the Egypt Centre at Swansea.
See Petrie (Tell el Amarna, 1894, pl. XV, no. 115) for a faience ring mould with this cartouche type.
