Amatuer, comprehensive skull model of Tylosaurus Rex. Personal project for eventual 3D Printing. Primarily based off specimines from Zietlow, et. al. 2026 (BioOne) including PMNS 8029, PMNS 2021-03-01, SMU 77679, PMNS 18418, SMU 75586, and SMU 78001; secondary references include the Tylosaurus Proriger holotype paper (Zietlow et. al. 2026 (Deinsea)), images of many species provided by Dr. Zeitlow of on-display specimines via Youtube’s The Skeleton Crew Paleo’s Discord server; Blackburn Lab’s Komodo Dragon Skull Anatomy model here on Sketchfab; photos taken by myself from the Witte Museum in San Antonio, Texas; and many photos of many species from Google searching.
Some bones may not adequitely represent their actual shapes. Namely the smaller bones which have been annotated in this submission. I may revise this project if I’m able to find better references at local museums.
Made in Blender 5.2.0.
