More model informationPhotogrammetric scan of a Tyrannosaurus rex toy. The original toy was made in Leicester England by Invitica Plastics and was bought from the Early Learning Centre some time in the late 80s. The toy was scanned using my PalaeoPi Ltd TablePi2 automated photogrammetry turntable and a Nikon D5300 with 18-55mm lens. The photos were converted from RAW to 8bit JPEG using Darktable on Ubuntu 20.04 and imported into Metashape. This is the raw mesh, but the colour was extracted from a separate photo. The original toy was dusted with corn flour to make it less shiny, so what you see isn’t a texture constructed from the photos.
