Underwater: Wreck of Salvage Barge YC-21

Salvage Barge YC-21 now lying in Gutter Sound, Scapa Flow, Orkney.

Lost during a gale on the 14th of November 1968, this barge was salvaging the F2. Parts of the F2 - specifically a pair of 20mm anti-aricraft guns - are in the barge hold.

Barge and most of F2 scanned on a single dive, F2 will be added to the model once complete. Scanning conducted using a camera mounted on a Dive Xtras Piranha scooter, courtesy of Deep Ideas Ltd.
