More model informationA currently unidentified (presumably Tudor) pottery fragment recovered from the demolition rubble adjacent to the remains of a storage barn associated with the service ranges of Henry VIII’s Elsyng Palace in the grounds of Forty Hall, Enfield, by the Enfield Acheaological Society, July 2019. The vessel is an unusual form, apparently of semi-circular profile with a flat ornamental face with signs of piercing. Our current guess is that it is part of a chafing dish.
