A few days ago, I road tripped in Iceland. In the south of the island, I walked 4 kilometers on a moon-like field, and came across this plane wreckage. In November 1973, a U.S. Navy plane crashed here, without making any victims. Since then, nothing changed. Iceland is an amazing and very natural country. Coming across this plane just feels like an end-of-the-world movie.
