This bust of John Lewis is available to everyone supporting Black Lives Matter and civil rights. To accompany our bust of George Floyd, we are adding busts of civil rights leaders. The Bust of John Lewis was sculpted by Daniel Edwards in 2012 and is being made available by the father-and-son team of sculptors, Daniel and Rodman Edwards.
“While protesting is pivotal, there are plenty of other effective modes of activism,” said Rodman Edwards, “we agreed that using our talents was the best way we could show our support.”
“As we are now seeing the removal of statues that are symbols of racism, we believe it is time to put the power of commemorative statuary into the peoples’ hands. For the first time in history, individuals have the right to choose who they wish to memorialize forever,” said Rodman Edwards.
