U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000 variant V2

The second version of the Excelsior class that I made. It literally took me a YEAR to build this model! Most of time searching for good reference material. This variant of the Excelsior model represents the USS Excelsior NCC-2000 as seen on ST:VI The Undiscovered Country. Not 100% accurate, but she is as close as i can get to the original ILM 7ft filming model. The model is mostly “eyeball”, because there are no “good” blueprints of the 7ft ILM studio model. Most blueprints i see are of the 4ft Voyager Flashback model by Greg Jien. While similar to, it is not quite the same as the 7ft studio model. However, There are plenty of reference photos of the 7ft filming model. I just tweaked, and adjusted the mesh until it “looked about right”.

This model is featured in the Homeworld: Remasted mod Star Trek: Continuum.
