Merycoidodontidae is an extinct genus of Artiodactyl, or even-toed hoofed mammals. These were cud-chewing animals that likely looked something like cattle, but were actually more related to camels. Like cattle, Merycoidodontidae were woodland and grassland browsers. These are the skull and jaws of the animal.
