At the heart of every Beetle Rubigenum Colony is the Queen. Almost spider-like in appearance, the Queen’s sole purpose is to manage the hive and birth new workers and/or soldiers.

The Vampirical Blight Queen survives mainly on blood delivered to her by her drones. Excess amounts of this blood are used to coat the eggs she lays, insuring they get the amount of Iron (Fe) they require. It can be vomited up when she is provoked, as it is heated inside her stomach and is the perfect breeding ground for harmful bacteria. Due to her own massive intake of Iron (Fe), the Vampirical Blight Queen is extremely strong, it’s unique biology ensuring blood is digested, and Iron (Fe) distributed efficiently, most of it being concentrated in it’s exoskeletal structures.
