Vance Hall Excavation

Archaeological excavation of nineteenth-century contexts at Vance Hall on the UNC-Chapel Hill Campus. This 3 m x 3 m excavation revealed a refuse-filled, stone-lined drain and the base of a shallow cellar pit. Both contexts date to the first have of the nineteenth century.
