More model informationThis vault keystone is a relic of the history of Frankfurt am Main.
Usually vault keystones were commissioned in the Middle Ages by wealthy donor family of the church to immortalize themselves.
In this case, however, it is a stone that was embedded in the vault of the rear gate of the Clesernhof. The Rohrbach/Werstatt alliance coat of arms can be seen.
The stone can be found on the north facade of the exhibition building of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt. Additional information can be found on their website.
