Vessel fragment with anthropomorphic image

This is a fragment of the rim of a thick-walled vessel, ornamented with incised lines and grooves. There is the molding in the shape of a human face on the vessel.

Site: Veremia settlement (Ukraine).

Cultural and chronological attribution: Cucuteni–Trypillia culture (BII stage (4100-3600 BC)).

The artefact is stored in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
