More model informationThis is the first floor landing of Victoria Hall in Saltaire, presenting a portrait of Titus Salt who built it in 1871. With the designs of local Bradfordian architects Lockwood and Mawson, Titus Salt built an entire village for his woollen weavers to live in for free (under condidtions) called Saltaire in the late 19th century. This village sported the infamous Salts Mill, compulsory schooling both through the week and a Sunday school, a reformed church, and Victoria Hall itself in the centre of the Villiage.
This was completed using a Faro 5 terrestrial laser scanner on 16/05/2023 on behalf of the University of Bradford under their Visualisating Heritage project and in partial fulfilment to a master’s degree.
