Recovered from the woodshed at the Moseley Homestead, National Register of Historic Places site in Brandon, Florida, this piece is typical for the era and would likely have been used at the entryway or common area of the home during its early occupation history. The turned pegs on this furniture piece would have been used for hanging coats, umbrellas or canes.
