More model information

this was the first model i completed in 3ds max; even i was new to the software, i wanted to challenge myself. even within the timeframe of starting this model, i improved a lot in my understanding of how the program works. (i personally think that when you start instinctively using the hotkeys for the software you’re learning in another one that you’ve used for years, you’re well on your way to familiarity.) i kept the texture fairly simple, but i still wanted to give the couch cushions some visual distinctiveness, so i made a vector of a pattern design in illustrator and turned it into an alpha in substance painter.
