reduced point cloud of Lidar scan carried out at Vigo Cave, Co. Clare, Ireland. The cave consists of a single linear passage with a maximum height of 10 m. Two large accumulation of sediment, one in the centre of the depicted passage and one at the end reduces the height of the cave to around 2 m and less than 1 m respectively. The scan was carried out with a Leica BLK2GO, kindly loaned by Leica Geosystems Ireland, which also provided the Cyclone360 software suite for processing. The scan was done in one 30 min long scanning session. The point cloud was reduced to less than 1% of its original size with a minimum point distance of 0.06 m.
