Haven’t uploaded in awhile, been crazy busy with my day job and just life stuff. Really simplistic table in terms of geo, I was sort of just playing around with sculpting wood and what is more effective where. Doing wood grain/detail by hand instead of convenient alphas is definitely a no-go. The carved detail was actually done using a tiling alpha in substance painter and then dinging up the edges of the mask. It was really convenient because not only could I use symmetry to paint out the edges of the mask on both sides at once, but it goofed on me and I was all “naw son” and just exported the mask to photoshop and copy pasted it over like zip zap bang. So yeah! Gonna try and work out a building I’ve been trying to get done since like forever ago, hopefully coming back with mroe impressive stuff after this
