More model informationThe Storck Villa was built by artists Cecilia and Frederik Storck in the 1920’s in Balchik, which was a popular summer destination among artists and aristrocracy at the time. Its exact location on the map can be seen here. The construction is made of white limestone and it’s long been abandoned and left in a continuous state of decay, exposed to the elements. The building is so heavily invaded by vegetation, that I was barely able to perform a partial scan. With the booming housing market around the area and seemingly unstable terrain underneath it, some fear that it will demolished and replaced with a more modern house. Let’s just hope that someone will eventually step in to either restore it or at least fully scan its exterior/interior.
