Norsk: Maskinist Knut Sundbeck lagde denne vindfløyen ombord på Fram, mens skuta lå i Hvalbukta i Antarktis, i februar 1911. Vindfløyen fikk sin faste plass ved siden av meteorologiburet utenfor Framheim. Etter Sydpolsekspedisjonen tok Amundsen med seg vindfløyen hjem til Uranienborg, der den fikk sin plass på toppen av flaggstangen.

English: This weather vane was made by engineer Knut Sundbeck aboard the Fram, while the ship was moored in The Bay of Whales, Antarctica, in February 1911. It was installed next to the meteorological screen outside Framheim. After the South Pole expedition, Amundsen brought the weather vane home to Uranienborg, and installed it at the top of the flagpole there.
