- Coatlicue by Susan Yamagata and Michael Schnorr (1978)
Coatlicue is an Aztec goddess, also known as “Mother of the Gods.” According to artist Victor Ochoa, who painted several murals in the park, this pillar embodies the contrast between pre-Columbian religions in the region and Christianity, which was introduced by the Spanish.
