First built in the early 1900s, the Vista House was originally built as a memorial for early Oregon travelers. The site also acts as a rest stop and observatory, offering views deep into the Gorge and a space to reflect on the natural history of the Pacific Northwest. And with the growing threat of wildfires along the west coast, these moments of reflection are more important than ever.
