The Vordingborg Castle ruins (Vordingborg Slotsruin) are located in the town of Vordingborg, Denmark and are the town’s most famous attraction Build around 1175 by king Valdemar the Great as a base to launch raids against the German baltic coast. It was mostly demolished in the 1600’s except for one tower known as ‘the Goose tower’ ‘Gåsetårnet’ in Danish which still stands to this day.
