Votive altar carving. 3D Model
Stone plaque from an altar in the museum next to the stunning archological site at Dion, near Mount Olympus. There is no specific information about the piece the museum, but I guess the figure on the right has to be the Greek God of medicine and healing, Asclepius. His symbol is a coiled snake and people who thought they had been cured by him would sacrifice a baby pig.
