This wagon was onced used on the Patterson Farm, that now makes up part of the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. This wagon was likely used for transporting barrels of tobacco called hogsheads. This wagon is on display in the Exhibit Barn at the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum.
