Wall at Gravesend, Arbroath3D Model
This model shows the boundary wall on the west side of the car park at Lidl, Gravesend, Arbroath. The wall runs North-South and was erected in its current form in 1985 but comprises fragments from 3 separate 19th Century buildings: * a round-arched sandstone gateway, which originally formed the eastern entrance to the former Burnside Works providing access to a pend into the inner courtyard of the mill complex * roughly coursed sandstone walling incorporating a blocked low-arched opening with voussoirs, probably part of the north block (a 2-storey warehouse) of the former Park Mill complex * roughly coursed sandstone walling pierced by 6 blocked windows, probably part of the west wall of the main block (housing the spinning room and engine house) of the former Park Mill
