More model informationThe 191 ft propeller Waverly was built in 1874. In 1903 while bound for Wisconsin, towing the barge W.S. Crosthwaite the Waverly was struck and sunk by the steel steamer Turret Court 5 miles SE of Harbor Beach. The crew was picked up by the Crosthwaite. Today it sits flattened and broken on the bottom at a depth of 124-ft in the Thumb Area Bottomland Underwater Preserve. The model was created from 2, 551 30-megapixel and 50-megapixel images shot by Brian Bosveld and Andrew Goodman shot in the 2023 season.
